A "Florian" krewe member is an active or retired professional firefighter. A prospective krewe member must be sponsored by a current member in good standing. When membership applications are received (during open membership period), the application will be reviewed and voted on by the members of the Executive Board. Once accepted as a member of the krewe, the new member will participate in a one year probationary period. As a member of our krewe, you will be expected to attend krewe meetings and participate in charity functions.
A "Flame" of the Krewe of Saint Florians is a wife, husband (or domestic partner) of a Saint Florian member. Our krewe Flames are a very intrical part of our krewe participation. Much of our charitable efforts are greatly influenced by the hard work of the krewe flames.
